SAFIRA recognized as a Best Company to Work for the 5th year in a row
According to the independent study of Exame/Accenture, SAFIRA was again considered one of the Best Companies to Work in Portugal for the year 2012. SAFIRA presents results of the Study "Use of Information Technologies in the Collections Process: Current trends and future strategies"
In order to provide relevant insights on current topics, acquiring knowledge of the real maturity state and delivering adequate guidance, SAFIRA prepared and conducted a study to determine the level of use of technologies and international practices in the Collections area. Among other findings, the study showed that investment in technology is one of the areas where there is a greater perception of high return, but where the focus has not been widespread. In the first half of 2011 only 11% of organizations increased the investment in technology, but 44% expect to do it within 12 months. PDF in Portuguese.

SAFIRA participates in the development of OMIP Auctions Portal
Extending a partnership started in 2009 in implementing information technology solutions designed by OMIP within the Iberian Electricity Market, SAFIRA was invited to collaborate on the auctions platform that successfully supported the bidding for the transfer of rights to use fourth mobile generation frequencies (LTE).


BPM and Process Automation in BES Group
With the growing prominence of the BPM (Business Process Management) paradigm in organizations, Banco Espírito Santo Group (BES Group) was looking for a solution to support the identification, analysis, optimization and support of their business processes. From this need, emerged a strategic and innovative project for BES Group. The Process Automation Platform (called Generic Workflows Platform) developed in partnership with SAFIRA has become, in just one year, the most widely used Workflow in BES Group. With the success in Portugal, BES is making an investment in the internationalization of the platform, which now also supports BESSE Bank (BES Spain) and is prepared to be launched in other geographic regions.
