SAFIRA announces record financial results

Global revenues are growing more than 60% and international business reaches 75%. SAFIRA has been developing projects in 15 countries of 4 continents, including Angola, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Belgium, Ecuador, Colombia and Chile, besides Poland, UK and Spain where it has its own offices. By the end of the year, the company expects to exceed €9 million in turnover, a much higher value than expected (€8 million). Specialization is one of the pillars of this growth - SAFIRA increasingly focuses and positions itself in the areas of BPM (Business Process Management), ODM (Operational Decision Management), Mobility and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), being recognized as one of the major worldwide players in IBM technology.

How mobility drives process efficiency: SAFIRA showcases its expertise in London

SAFIRA’s participation in IBM Innovate BusinessConnect 2013 and Innovate 2013 - The IBM Technical Summit is aligned with the increasing specialization in Business Agility, the close relationship with IBM since 2000 and the business development strategy for the UK. This region already represents 25% of SAFIRA’s turnover and has seen its revenues triple, year after year, since 2011.

SAFIRA and ADENE together in environmental sustainability

Through a public tender, SAFIRA was selected as the implementation partner for SEEP (Energy Labelling System), a project sponsored by ADENE (Portuguese Agency for Energy) that allows the end user to compare products according to their energy performance and choose the ones that ensure lower monthly expenses and higher comfort. Glass windows are the first with an energy label, but is under study the certification of boilers, elevators, public lighting points, among others. There are "several approaches from some institutions across borders for the internationalization of the platform". SEEP has already 150 participating entities, 250 labels issued and 4000 registered products.

SAFIRA launches Academy

The new business unit is targeted to all employees and customers, both national and international. SAFIRA Academy positions itself not only as a framework for customized training, but also as an initiative that enables management and implementation of real projects in 'incubator' customers, with which there is a partnership agreement. Internally, the goal is to continuously improve existing skills and adapt them to the company’ strategy, to the fast pace of technological change and to the most in-demand projects, both national and international. Externally, it aims to transfer know-how to customers on the implemented solutions and methodologies. This customized offer reinforces SAFIRA’s commitment on its team qualification, which already has one of the industry highest ratios: an average of 10,000 hours of annual training.
